The print head, as an indispensable core component in digital printing machines, directly affects the quality and effect of the printing. Therefore, regular maintenance is of great significance. Here are some suggestions for maintaining the print head:
1.Do not install or disassemble the electronic components of the digital printing machine at will without turning off the power switch and cutting off the main power supply. Otherwise, it will damage the service life of each system and harm the nozzles.
2. During use, whether replacing or adjusting the nozzle, do not use brute force. Follow the instructions in the instrument manual to replace or adjust the nozzle properly.
3. During use, do not mix different types of ink. The raw materials used in the production of different inks are different. Mixing two different types of ink may cause a chemical reaction, which will directly affect the printing quality and even lead to clogging of the printhead.
4. Do not leave the nozzle exposed after removing it from the digital printing machine, especially in dusty areas. Because the moisture contained in the ink will gradually evaporate, and drying the ink may cause permanent clogging of the nozzle, which cannot be repaired. Therefore, when the nozzle gets clogged, it is necessary to clean and repair it in time.
5. The cleaning solution for the nozzle is somewhat corrosive. It is recommended to take an appropriate amount for each cleaning session.
6. During cleaning, a short rubber tube can be attached to the front end of the medical syringe and filled with the filtered cleaning solution for rinsing. During the rinsing process, use a magnifying glass to carefully observe the spray holes. If there are accumulated residues beside the spray holes, they can be removed with soft rubber products. For the integrated printing nozzle that has been left unused for a long time and is clogged due to dried ink, a special cleaning solution can be used for cleaning.
7. Do not use sharp objects to clean the nozzle. Do not hit the nozzle. Do not directly touch the nozzle with your hands.
8. Do not disassemble or install the nozzle under conditions of static electricity or power supply. Do not touch the electrical contacts on the nozzle with your hands or any other objects.
It is worth noting that it is advisable to use genuine high-quality ink (preferably the original factory ink, which has good compatibility). This not only ensures stable printing but also plays a crucial role in prolonging the printing lifespan of the printhead. By properly maintaining the printhead on a daily basis, the equipment can work better, resulting in cost savings and an improvement in overall production efficiency.
