Technical Parameters
- Resolution: The nozzle resolution of Epson S3200-A1 and I3200-A1 print heads is both 600dpi. Some Kyocera print heads, such as the KJ4B-1200, have a resolution of up to 1200dpi, enabling more refined printing results.
- Nozzle Count: Both Epson S3200-A1 and I3200-A1 print heads have 3200 nozzles. The nozzle count of Kyocera print heads varies by model; for example, the KJ4B-1200 print head has 5312 nozzles.
- Ink Drop Control: Epson's two print heads use VSDT (Variable Size Droplet Technology) to freely control ink drop size, reducing image graininess. Kyocera print heads control ink ejection volume through high-voltage piezoelectric ceramic technology, also achieving relatively precise ink drop control.
- Ink Viscosity: The applicable ink viscosity for Epson I3200-A1 print heads is 3-4 mPa·s, and for S3200-A1 print heads it is 5-9 mPa·s. The ink viscosity for Kyocera print heads is generally around 5.5-6.0 mPa·s.
Performance
- Printing Speed: Epson S3200-A1 print heads can reach a speed of 1100 square meters per hour. The I3200-A1 print heads also have a relatively fast speed when combined with multiple heads. Kyocera print heads, due to their high-frequency response, have a significant production capacity advantage; for example, the
