Moisture absorption of materials: The transfer films and heat-melt powders used in white ink transfer printing are prone to absorb moisture from the air and get damp. After getting damp, the transfer films may cause powder sticking, oil leakage, and even affect the adhesion effect. How to avoid the occurrence of the above situations?

Storage environment management

1、 Use dehumidification equipment: Place a dehumidifier in the room where white ink transfer materials are stored. Based on the size of the room and the humidity condition, reasonably set the running time and humidity control range of the dehumidifier. Generally, it is more suitable to control the humidity within the range of 40% - 60%.

2、Utilizing desiccants: Place desiccants such as quicklime or silica gel drying agents at the storage location of materials. You can put the desiccants in a sealed container and make some holes on the container to allow the desiccants to slowly absorb moisture from the air. Regularly check the condition of the desiccants and replace the ones that have failed in time.

3、Make sure to close the doors and windows properly to prevent damp air from entering.

Material packaging protection

1、Sealed Packaging: Materials such as the transfer film with white ink heat transfer printing, heat-melt powder, etc. should be packaged separately in sealed bags or sealed containers. For larger packages, such as the entire roll of transfer film, they can be wrapped with plastic film to minimize the contact between the materials and the humid air outside.

2、Vacuum packaging: For some materials that are not used for a long time, vacuum packaging can be adopted. By extracting the air, the possibility of the materials getting damp can be further reduced.

Material arrangement

1、Raise and place: Place the materials on the shelves or pallets, keeping them at a certain distance from the ground to avoid the direct influence of moisture from the ground on the materials. The height of the shelves or pallets is generally around 10 - 20 centimeters.

2、Classify and Arrange: Arrange different types of materials separately for easy management and inspection. At the same time, avoid placing materials prone to moisture absorption together with items with high moisture content.
