As a high-precision equipment, the digital printing press requires not only careful handling during daily use but also more important post-use maintenance. Maintenance is the key to ensuring the long-term stable operation of the digital printing press. Through regular cleaning, inspection and maintenance, potential problems can be detected and solved in time, thereby extending the equipment's lifespan, improving production efficiency and guaranteeing the printing quality of the equipment. Therefore, it is recommended that users operate strictly in accordance with the maintenance requirements to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Environmental requirements
1. The indoor environment should be dust-proof. It should not be placed in an environment prone to smoke and dust. Keep the floor clean and tidy.
2. Try to maintain a constant temperature and humidity environment. Generally, the temperature is between 18℃ and 30℃, and the humidity is between 35% and 65%.
3. No objects, especially liquids, should be placed on the surface of the machine.
4. The machine should be placed flat. When loading materials, it must be placed flatly. Otherwise, the printed long images will run off.
5. There should be no common household appliances near the machine. It should be away from strong magnetic fields and electric fields.
Maintenance method
Raster: Check if there are any dust or stains on the raster. If necessary, it is recommended to clean it with a white cloth dipped in alcohol. The cleanliness of the raster and its position changes will affect the movement of the ink carriage and the printing effect.
Filter: Regularly check for any blockage and carry out timely cleaning and replacement.
Ink stack cap: Keep it clean at all times, as the ink stack cap is a component that directly contacts the printhead.
Scrapers: Keep the ink stack cleaning unit clean, and the scrapers clean and undamaged to avoid affecting the scraping ink effect.
Ink cartridge and ink bucket: Regularly clean the ink cartridges and waste ink buckets. After long-term use, residual ink on the bottom of the ink cartridges and waste ink buckets may form lumps, causing poor ink flow. It is necessary to clean the ink cartridges and waste ink buckets regularly.
Stabilizer: It is recommended to have a stabilizer for each machine (only for printers, excluding drying), with a power of no less than 3000W.
Ink: Ensure that the ink in the ink cartridges is sufficient to avoid emptying the printheads, which may cause damage to the printheads and clogging.
Print platform: Keep the print platform free of foreign objects to avoid scratching and damaging the printheads.
Printhead: Regularly check whether there are any debris accumulated on the mirror surface of the printhead and around it and clean them. You can move the cart to the cleaning position and use a cotton swab dipped in cleaning solution to clean the ink residue around the printhead to avoid affecting the cleaning effect.
Ink reservoir: After long-term use of the machine, check whether the ink reservoir is loose.
Transmission parts: The transmission parts should be lubricated with grease. Grease should be added regularly at the meshing positions of gears, such as the air expansion shaft gears for feeding and discharging materials, the sliding blocks of the guide rails, and the lifting mechanism of the ink stack. (It is recommended to add grease appropriately to the long belts of the motor of the transverse small vehicle to effectively reduce noise.)
Circuit inspection: Check whether the power lines and sockets are aging.
Drying machine: Regularly check whether the power supply of the drying machine is aging and whether the internal lamp tubes are damaged.
Air pump: Check whether the air pressure of the air pump is normal.
