During the peak production period, the safety issues in the digital printing factory cannot be ignored. Regarding these aspects, everyone must have paid attention!
Safe use of electrical appliances
Line inspection and maintenance: During the summer, electricity consumption increases and the load on electrical circuits becomes heavier. Digital printing factories should conduct regular inspections of electrical circuits to check for issues such as circuit aging, damage, and short circuits. For aged and damaged circuits, they should be replaced promptly; for circuits with short circuit risks, the causes need to be identified and repaired.
Proper use of electrical appliances: It is strictly prohibited to privately connect or dismantle temporary power lines. This is to prevent fires caused by overloaded circuits. Each electrical appliance should be equipped with a suitable socket and power cord according to its rated power. Do not use electrical appliances with excessive power.
Avoidance of fire safety hazards
Based on the size and layout of the factory building, as well as the fire risk levels in different areas, appropriate fire extinguishers and fire hydrants should be configured. In areas with dense equipment and a large amount of flammable materials, the number and specifications of fire extinguishers should be increased. Regular water discharge tests should be conducted on fire hydrants, and pressure tests and drug replacement for fire extinguishers should be carried out annually to ensure that the fire-fighting facilities are always available.
Ensure that the brightness of emergency lighting is sufficient, the evacuation signs are clear and eye-catching, and the installation positions comply with fire safety regulations. Regularly inspect emergency lighting and evacuation signs to ensure that they can provide normal power supply and indication functions during a fire, guiding employees to evacuate quickly.
Material storage
Standardize raw material storage: Store flammable raw materials such as ink and paper in separate warehouses. The warehouses should have fire separation measures, maintain good ventilation, and avoid direct sunlight. Strictly control the inventory of raw materials in the warehouses, purchase them in accordance with production plans, and reduce inventory accumulation.
Timely clean up production waste: Waste materials such as discarded printing paper and ink-stained rags generated during production are highly prone to cause fires. Establish a waste clearance system, clearly define the clearance frequency, assign a dedicated person to be responsible, collect the waste materials in time and transport them to the designated safe storage points, and regularly process them.
