How much do you know about the daily maintenance of digital printing machines? Have you not spent any time on systematic maintenance since you bought the machine? To truly bring out its value, daily maintenance is indispensable.

Daily maintenance items

1.Grating: Check if there are any dust or stains on the grating. If cleaning is needed, it is recommended to use a white cloth dipped in alcohol for wiping and cleaning. The cleanliness of the grating and its position changes will affect the movement of the ink carriage and the printing effect.

2.Filter: Regularly check for any blockage and carry out timely cleaning and replacement.

3.Ink stack cap: Keep it clean at all times, as the ink stack cap is a component that directly contacts the printhead.

4.Scraper: Keep the ink stack cleaning unit clean, and keep the scraper clean and undamaged to avoid affecting the ink scraping effect.

5.Ink cartridge and ink tank: Clean the ink cartridge and waste ink tank regularly. After long-term use, the ink remaining at the bottom of the ink cartridge and waste ink tank may form lumps, causing poor ink flow, and regular cleaning of the ink cartridge and waste ink tank is necessary.

6.Ink: Ensure that the ink in the ink cartridge is sufficient to avoid the printhead running out of ink, causing damage to the print head and clogging.

7.Printing platform: Keep the printing platform free of foreign objects to avoid scratches and damage to the printhead.

8.Print head: Regularly check if there are any debris accumulated on the mirror surface and surrounding areas of the print head and clean it. Move the small cart to the cleaning position, use a cotton swab dipped in cleaning solution to clean the residual ink on the spray head to avoid affecting the cleaning effect.

9.Ink reservoir: After long-term use of the machine, check if the ink reservoir is loose.

10.Transmission parts: Apply lubricating grease to the transmission parts, and regularly add lubricating grease to the gear meshing positions, such as the air-hung gear of the feeding and discharging mechanism, the slide block of the guide rail, and the ink stack lifting mechanism. (It is recommended to add an appropriate amount of lubricating grease to the long belt of the lateral cart motor to effectively reduce noise.)

11.Circuit inspection: Check if the power cord and socket have any aging phenomena.

12.Drying device: Regularly check if the power supply of the drying device is aging and if the internal lamp tubes are damaged.

13.Air pump: Check if the air pump pressure is normal.

14.Working environment requirements: There should be no dust indoors to avoid the influence of dust on the layer of the printing material and ink consumables.

Environmental requirements

1. The indoor area should be dust-proof. It should not be placed in environments prone to smoke and dust. Keep the floor clean and tidy.
2. Try to maintain a constant temperature and humidity environment. Generally, the temperature should be between 18℃ and 30℃, and the humidity between 35% and 65%.
3. No objects, especially liquids, should be placed on the machine surface.
4. The machine should be placed flat. When loading materials, it must be level. Otherwise, the printed long images will deviate.
5. There should be no common household appliances near the machine. It should be away from strong magnetic fields and electric fields.
