1. Power On and Preheat (Key Prerequisite)
- Connect the power supply and air source, turn on the main switch of the machine, and set the temperature, time and pressure parameters.
- Adjust the temperature according to the transfer material (150-180℃ for fabrics, 100-150℃ for metals/plastics) and set the time to 10-30 seconds generally.
- Wait until the temperature reaches the set value and the machine indicator shows "Ready" before proceeding to the next step. Insufficient temperature will lead to transfer failure.
2. Material Positioning (Ensure Pattern Accuracy)
- Lay the substrate to be transferred (fabric, metal plate, etc.) flat on the lower workbench, smooth out wrinkles, and ensure the surface is clean and free of oil.
- Align the heat transfer paper (pattern side down) with the target position on the substrate, and fix it with tape or a positioner to prevent displacement during heating.
- Gently lower the upper platen, fine-tune the position, confirm the pattern is aligned, then lift the upper platen to prepare for pressure application.
3. Pressure Application and Heating (Core Transfer Step)
- Press the start button (or step on the foot switch), and the machine will automatically lower and maintain the set pressure.
- The pressure does not need to be too high (usually 0.3-0.6MPa), just enough to fix the materials without damaging the substrate.
- Wait for the set time to end. The machine will automatically lift the upper platen. Do not touch the heat transfer paper immediately at this time.
4. Cooling and Workpiece Removal (Avoid Pattern Peeling)
- Let the heat transfer paper and substrate cool naturally for 10-20 seconds, or use cold air to speed up cooling until the temperature is not scalding.
- Gently tear off the heat transfer paper from the edge. If the pattern sticks, reapply pressure and heat for 3-5 seconds before tearing again.
- Check the transfer effect. A clear pattern with strong adhesion means completion. If the pattern is blurred, properly increase the temperature or extend the time.
5. Shutdown and Finalization (Protect the Machine)
- Turn off the temperature control switch and let the machine cool down naturally to below 50℃.
- Disconnect the power supply and air source, clean the residual stains on the workbench and upper platen to avoid accumulation affecting future use.
- Cover the machine with a dust cover and place it in a dry and ventilated area, avoiding moisture or direct sunlight.
